Given the widespread adoption of quality improvement initiatives, be they in the name of Six Sigma, Lean, DFSS, etc., many people - especially those not typically used to employing statistical methods - are requiring more "specialized" knowledge.

During my time as a graduate student at the University of Iowa, I was fortunate to learn from excellent communicators in the field of statistics and quality improvement. Since that time, I have concentrated my own research on "inwardly digesting" (as Professor Hogg would say) the written works from giants in the discipline. I count these individuals as Fisher, Gosset (i.e. "Student"), Karl and Egon Pearson, Shewhart, Deming and Box among others. A section of this website is devoted to some of their available papers.
My goal is that this website shall provide quick access to useful information, to enhance the utilization of statistical theory in practice.
