1. 100% of net advertising revenue from KeithBower.com LLC, including Let Me Tell You A Tale, YouTube videos, Podcast sponsorship, and merchandising on CafePress is invested in microfinance projects via Kiva.org and microplace.com

2. All investment-accrued interest from (1) is donated to Seattle Children's Hospital

The aim of this website is to provide free information on applied statistics to students and practitioners. The website was launched in 2004, and since then both the website and podcasts have received sponsorship. In addition, the Google AdSense adverts on some webpages are also able to support the costs of the running the website and associated resources (predominantly costs associated with website hosting, cloud storage and legal costs with running an LLC).

All net income is put to direct use for projects (1) and (2) above.

MicroPlace and Kiva provide the opportunity to invest directly in microfinancing projects in various regions across the developing world. For more information on the goals and strategy behind MicroPlace please click here and for Kiva, click here.

Importantly, the loans extended via MicroPlace generate interest. I therefore pledge to donate all investment-accrued returns (i.e. the interest) to Seattle Children's Hospital. As such, net income from the ventures available via this website will always be in play for good use. My acknowledgment letter from Seattle Children's Hospital for 2012 is shown here, with private information redacted.

I have been in contact with MicroPlace, as shown in this posting on their blog. I'm interested in having a conduit (e.g. a widget) via their website, linked to my information, so the claims I'm making on this webpage can be independently verified. My thinking is that a widget or suchlike would be a solution. If/when such a feature becomes available I shall add it to my website - I see that this proposal is currently under consideration.

Until then you'll have to take my personal guarantee that I shall follow everything I have stated on this webpage with those microfinancing agencies. For due diligence, I shall abide by the Suitability Rule outlined by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission with regard to microloan funding.
